Oakes Farms’ Georgia Crops Looking Great Despite Late season Frost
Oakes Farms’ had a challenging beginning of its partnership with Chill C Farms in Moultrie, GA due to unusually low temperatures in mid-March. Temperatures hit 26- degrees and caused some damage to plants already in the ground and forced the planting of others to be temporary suspended. Fortunately this only caused an estimated one-week delay. As of mid-April Oakes Farms has moved past this hiccup and is ready to catch up with the overall Georgia crop. Read the full story here.
