Seed to Table Market Set to Open Nov 2017

Seed to Table Market Set to Open Nov 2017

In response to resident inquiries, Alfie Oakes, founder and CEO of Naples-based Oakes Farms, said, “There’s still a lot to be done, but it’s coming for sure!  I’m real optimistic that we’ll make our Nov. 6, 2017 date. It seems like it’s far away, but there’s still so much to be done.”

What’s the significance of Nov. 6? It’s not only the date Alfie Oakes and his father, the late Frank Oakes, opened the original Oakes Farms Market on Davis Boulevard in East Naples more than 20 years ago, but it’s his late grandfather, Banny Oakes’, birthday too!

Hello, I was trying to find a site or information on hiring or open positions for seed to table market! I currently work at one of your competitors and have been there for almost 5 years now, and was with publix for 6 before that. Always open to an opportunity for growth in my career. I work customer service. Thank you for your time!

  • My name is Kris Mcguinness with Earthcare Landscape Services here in Naples fl. We are a family owned company and I actually drive by All the stores almost everyday. Food for thought has the best food. My family after yoga on Saturday’s goes there every Saturday. I was wondering if you had a landscape Professional in the community already. If not or are unhappy with one I would be happy to come out and give some prices. I believe we would be a great fit for Oak Farms and all the locations. We strive on customer service, quality and family being number 1. We’ll thank you for your time. Give me a call, email. I’d be happy to come out. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

We were so disappointed to return to Naples recently and discover your new store on Imokolee is still in construction mode. I assume Hurricane Irma has something to do with that. Are you still planning on getting that store open sometime? What is the status of the construction and do you have a new opening date yet? Thank you.

I submitted a resume’ in September 2016 for the new location when the new location was being built. I am still very much interested in working there. At the time there were a number of applications being submitted based on the amount of them my resume’ was put on. Should I resubmit my resume’.

Good morning. I have a plea that Seed To Table will be more like Food and Thought. 100% organic, good prices, great produce and nummy prepared food, and delicious meals! For a person who has painful intolerance to preservatives, Food and Thought is a Godsend. And the people are wonderful. It is the only grocery store I don’t have to read labels and the only restaurant I can order ANYTHING from. I have brought many friends to Food and Thought for a meal and told many more about your place. Thank you for making such an amazing place! Oh and the orchids now blooming in the patio on the trees are gorgeous. We also enjoy the music. 🙂
